The film "Ghoomketu" is a comedy-drama film in the Hindi language shooted in 2020 which is written & directed by Pushpendra Nath Misra. The film was produced under two production banners Phantom Films and Sony Pictures, acquired by ZEE5. The film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Ragini Khanna, Anurag Kashyap, Ila Arun, Raghuvir Yadav and Brijendra Kala in the main lead roles while also features Amitabh Bachchan, Sonakshi Sinha, Ranveer Singh, Chitrangada Singh in the cameo appearances.

The film was streamed via the ZEE5 platform on 22 May 2020 instead of theatrical release due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India.
The plot of the film Ghoomketu was based on an aspiring novice writer from a small town from
a UP village called Mahona, who runs away to Mumbai to achieve his dreams, to try his
luck in the films and gives a try to himself for 30 days and prove his worth as a Bollywood writer.

And He was also carrying a guide, named “How to be a Bollywood writer in 30 days” with him. And, Meanwhile, his family uses their political connections to pressure the police to bring him back and Badlani, a lazy corrupt officer is assigned the case to find him within 30 days and if he does not succeed then he will be sent on a punishment posting.
So, Will Ghoomketu be accepted in Bollywood, or will he return to home, Or Will Badlani be able to find him and save his posting?
Ghoomketu in and out comedy role is played by Nawazuddin and the role of Badlani, the corrupt cop is played by Anurag Kashyap. And, Pushpendra Misra directs this in his signature style of bringing some insightful life humor in everyday characters.

The shooting of the film was completed in 2014 and due to financial troubles as well as the inability to find ideal distributors for the film release, the film release was delayed for years.
